I'm a Crafty Girl!   I learned to knit and crochet at a young age. I'm not exactly sure how old I was, but I know I was under 10 years old. When I got older, I learned to quilt. I also took a sewing class with my mom as an adult. We called it therapy, because it helped us focus on something else besides the stresses of daily life, and it was much cheaper in the long run than actual therapy.

I have also taken to scrap-booking and card-making, and even digital scrap-booking and digital stamping. I love all kinds of crafts. I have even dedicated a blog to my artistic endeavors, called.

I live in Northern California, have been married to my best friend for five years, and we have a beautiful, smart, amazing, three year old daughter. We also live with and watch after a 49 year old mentally disabled man. It's kind of like having our own teenager!
